Chicago Skyway Maintenance of Traffic Plates

SWE Solutions provided drafting services and CADD support for the Chicago Skyway Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) signing plates designed by the prime consultant within the set budget.

The new signing plates are part of the Chicago Skyway’s Traffic Control Standard drawings update. SWE Solutions prepared sealed MOT control plates that generally follow the current policies of SCC, MUTCD, IDOT, and FHWA, as applicable to this project.

Drafting Services.

Expertise in MicroStation, providing CADD support to review relevant drawings from agencies operating within the State of Illinois, including the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) and Illinois Tollway for similarities. Deliverables include DGN and PDF files of updated Skyways Traffic Control Standards.
